Kelac (Ketorolac tromethamine) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug most often use to treat moderate to severe pain. Ketorolac is not a narcotic and is not habit-forming. It is 5 & 50 times more potent than diclofenac & naproxen respectively. Biocare Pharmaceutica was the first company in to introduced/launch Ketorolac tablet in Pakistan market.

Indications:

Ketorolac tromethamine tablets are indicated for the short-term (5 days) management of moderately severe acute pain that requires analgesia at the opioid level.

Dosage Guidelines:

Adult Dose: 20 mg follow by 10 mg. Maximum 40 mg/day.
Adults > 65 or < 50 kg: 10 mg per 46-8 hourly. Maximum: 40 mg/day.
